In an effort to support the government to fight coronavirus or Covid-19 and as an action of BPJamsostek’s Concern, Board of Supervisors and Directors of BPJamsostek initiate a voluntary donation program to help facilities and medical aids especially for medical personnel in handling Covid-19 cases.



Naufal Mahfudz, BPJamsostek's General Affair and HR Director explained, "As a first step, at the Joint Meeting of Board of Supervisors and Directors on Friday, we decided to donate 10% of our salary for 2 months, to help overcome the spread of Covid -19 in Indonesia. And we will continue if it's still needed ".

Naufal also explained, this moral movement will be followed by all BPJamsostek employees, totaling 6,100 people throughout Indonesia. "We have announced to all employees, to be able to participate in this moral movement, and God willing, it will start this month too," added Naufal.

The plan to use the donation fund is to assist the handling of Covid-19, including working accidents and death protection assistance for humanitarian heroes, namely medical personnel involved in handling Covid-19, medical aid and rapid test equipment as well as basic food assistance for vulnerable workers who experiencing difficulties due to the spread of this virus.

"We hope that the funds we collect can be useful for handling Covid-19 and we pray that this plague can be resolved soon so that we can return to serve all Indonesian workers and continue to build this country," concluded Naufal.
