Balikpapan, East Kalimantan (ANTARA Kaltim) - Search was continuing for five people including a Dutch tourist missing , after their boat sank in the Mahakam Hulu river East Kalimantan, police said.
The accident occurred when the speed boat Noor Istiqomah was on its way from Long Hubung to Long Apari on Sunday," East Kalimantan police spokesman Sr. Comr Fajar Setiawan said here on Monday.
The boat carried 18 people and 13 of them managed to swim to safety and five identified as Omi (9), Marselinus Yosef Juk (7), Aron Gerindo (1.5), a Dutch woman tourist and her Indoensian guide were still missing. Fajar said.(*)
